Dr. Andrea Savarese
Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Andrea Savarese is originally from Long Island, New York and attended veterinary school at Ross University. After graduation, Dr. Savarese completed a shelter medicine fellowship at Louisiana State University, where she provided medical care for shelter animals around southern Louisiana. Since her fellowship, Dr. Savarese has spent several years practicing small animal medicine locally. Dr. Savarese loves getting to know clients and their pets of all kind, but has a special interest in feline medicine, dentistry, and pet wellness. Dr. Savarese is a Fear Free and Cat Friendly certified veterinarian. When not in the clinic, Dr. Savarese has a few hobbies including horseback riding, traveling, and video games. Spending time with her family, including her cats, leopard tortoise, and ball python are also a must on her days off. Dr. Savarese is a member of the AVMA, AzVMA, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Jaqueline McCarten

With over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field, Jackie brings both deep industry knowledge and a genuine passion for animals to our team. Growing up surrounded by a variety of pets—including dogs, ferrets, chinchillas, guinea pigs, and cats—Jackie always knew animals would be a central part of her life. She earned her degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois, but her career path took a meaningful turn toward leadership and client care.
Jackie thrives on building strong relationships with clients and ensuring they feel supported and understood at every step of their pet’s care. At home, she shares her life with two beloved dogs, Winnie and Waffles, and a cat named Layla. She and her husband love spending time with their pets and exploring new places together.
Brittney Thompson

I am originally from Washington State and have lived in Arizona for over four years. I enjoy spending time with my parents and grandmother who now live here in AZ and my two tuxedo cats Diablo & Dior. In my spare time, I enjoy indoor cycling on my Peloton and swimming. I love teaching private swim lessons for all ages. I enjoy helping people and pets in need, and also spend time working in veterinary emergency medicine.

I am originally from California and relocated to Arizona a few years ago. I have been working in the vet field for the past 7 years. I have worked in both general practice and emergency as a CSR and vet assistant. I love every second I spend working with animals. My hobbies include reading, hiking, and making memories with my family, especially my nieces, nephews, and two dogs Nova and Luna.
Kieran DeLander

I began my career in animal care in early 2019 at a boarding facility in Prescott, Arizona. Since then, I have gained valuable experience and insight from numerous professionals within the field, which guided my transition into veterinary boarding, which then led to veterinary work in early 2022. Animal care has become an integral part of my life, and I am deeply committed to advancing my expertise in all sectors of the Veterinary Field. Outside of work, I enjoy activities like rock climbing, hiking, and just spending time in nature. I am passionate about conservation and actively seek opportunities to support environmental and wildlife initiatives. In my personal time, I enjoy being with my fiancée, four-year-old, and two cats, playing video games, or trying to learn something new.

I’ve known my whole life that I’d be working with animals—it’s always been more of a calling than a career choice. I officially started in the veterinary field in 2015, and it’s been incredibly rewarding ever since. I have a deep passion for dental care and monitoring surgery, where I feel I can make a real difference in a pet’s health and comfort. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and my dog, Cain, who’s a daily reminder of the love and loyalty animals bring into our lives.
