Amethyst Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned clinic on a mission to provide exceptional pet wellness and medical care services. In line with this goal, we are committed to becoming a trusted feline-friendly veterinary practice in Chandler, AZ, and making veterinary services less stressful for felines and their caregivers.
What sets us apart:
- Feline only waiting area and completely separate entrance
- Cat only hours, no canine patients scheduled during these times, inquire for times
- Feline only exam room (to this day, no dog has set foot in there!)
- During exams we offer tunnels, boxes, or cubes for cats to feel safe and secure if they are on the shy side, as well as other enrichment (food, treats, etc).
- Use of calming pheromones to decrease stress and anxiety in waiting areas, exam rooms, patient wards, and on bedding/towels in clinic
- Cat friendly and Fear Free certified veterinarian, to help facilitate appropriate stress free handling and decreased anxiety.
- Feline only patient wards (cages shown), they have solid lower panels, built in perches and port holes to a separate litter box compartment. All of these are fear free kenneling recommendations.
- Feline ward is also sound proof (built into the walls), and we offer calming music while patients are in our care.
